Punjab Skills Development fund
PSDF is the largest skills development fund in Pakistan, set up by the Government of the Punjab in collaboration with Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). PSDF also manages the skills training funding provided by the World Bank. It funds trainings for over 100,000 youth every year in 250+ demand-driven trades through an ecosystem of 500+ training partners, primarily from the industry and private sector training providers.
Orient Petroleum Inc.
ORIENT PETROLEUM – an exploration and production Company, the successor of Occidental of Pakistan Inc. has been functioning in Pakistan since 1979. Within five years of commencing E&P operations, it made Pakistan’s largest oil discovery from its Dhurnal field in Potwar Basin, Punjab with oil in place of over 150 million Barrels and was producing over 22,000 Barrels of oil per day. With a vision to expand its E&P footprint, Orient Petroleum has made significant strides in the field through various initiatives and innovations and has remained successful in providing sustainable solutions to Pakistan’s energy requirements.
National Highway Authority
In 1978, the Government of Pakistan federalized five important inter-provincial roads and named them National Highways. That same year, the National Highway Board was set up to monitor the development and maintenance of these federalized roads by provincial highway departments. In 1991 by the Highway Authority of Pakistan Act was passed to monitor the works and administration of national highways, motorways, expressways and strategic roads.
Pakistan International Oil Limited
PIOL consortium consisting of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL), and Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL). PIOL has been awarded an offshore exploration contract in UAE, the total area of 6,223 square kilometers and is located 100 kilometers north east of Abu Dhabi city.
MOL Pakistan is a fully owned subsidiary of MOL Group, operating in the country since 1999. Pakistan is a key contributor of the international portfolio in terms of production and exploration. MOL Pakistan has working interests in four blocks, of which TAL and Margalla blocks are operated. Furthermore, the company is one of the key condensate, crude oil, LPG and gas producers in the country, contributing to Pakistan’s energy supply.
